SmartSF Cam exists because of a simple irritation: the moment you walk away from your car, every camera pointed at the road stops mattering.
Why we started
The footage you need is the footage nobody records.
Break-ins, door dings, hit-and-runs — they happen in parking lots and driveways, at 3 a.m., while the dash cam sleeps and the moment that actually matters never gets recorded.
So we built the H2 around the opposite idea: the most important hours are the ones when you're away.
That meant three hard engineering choices. A cellular connection that's actually built in — an eSIM, not a SIM tray and an activation chore. An AI processor on the device itself, so it can tell a passing shadow from someone testing your door handle without streaming everything to a server. And a parking mode designed like a guard shift: ultra-low power, low-voltage protection for your battery, and a push notification the moment something matters.

We're a small team of engineers who've spent years building connected cameras in the hardware capital of the world — obsessing over the details that don't show up on spec sheets: how fast a device reconnects after a tunnel, how a bracket comes off the glass without residue, how an app behaves on 3% battery in a parking garage.
Honest specs
We advertise what the sensor really does. The road camera is a true 1080p HDR unit — so that's what the box says, and the interpolated 2K mode stays a footnote in settings, not a headline.
Privacy is a button
On-device AI means H2 thinks locally instead of streaming everything to a server. And the mic turns off with one physical press — not a menu, a button.
Direct, and human
We sell directly so the price stays honest and the feedback loop stays short. A person reads every email — usually one of the people who designed the product.

H2 runs on AIDOVID — the 4G camera platform whose app powers a whole family of connected cameras. That's deliberate: your dash cam's cloud, eSIM management, and app get platform-level engineering, not an afterthought bolted onto one product.
The AIDOVID app is free on the App Store and Google Play, and it's where your camera, plan, and footage live.
