It needs constant power. Three usual causes: the hardwire kit’s yellow wire is on a fuse that goes dead with the ignition; the OBD-II adapter is not fully seated; or your car’s OBD-II port is a switched one that loses power with the ignition — not all of them stay live, and the hardwire kit in the same box solves that one. Also check that low-voltage protection has not ended the watch.
Live view needs an active plan and cellular coverage where the car is parked. Underground garages are the usual culprit. Check the plan is still active in the app.

The same booklet that ships in the box, as a PDF — the full menu tree, what every button does in each mode, the fuse–box and OBD-II wiring notes, and the factory’s own troubleshooting pages. Worth keeping on your phone: the printed one is 90 × 120 mm and easy to mislay.
Tell us what the camera is doing and what you expected instead. A photo of the screen helps more than a paragraph.
